Hi, I'm Juan Pinto. I'm a husband and father 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, language pedagogue 👨🏽‍🏫, technology enthusiast 💻, and open science advocate 🔬. I work as a language educator and researcher and have experience teaching multiple languages, both domestically and abroad. Short blurbs on the goings on of my life and that of my family.


I rarely ever post public declarations of affection. But each day of the four years since I married this woman—and of the three years we dated before that—I have fallen more and more in love with her. I couldn’t have conjured a more wonderful companion in my wildest dreams. My imagination isn’t strong enough to dream so big. And yet, this is my incredible reality.

These two may be a handful, but they sure bring color and purpose into my life. The next few (quiet) months simply won’t be the same without them. 😢
