I work as a language educator and researcher and have experience teaching multiple languages, both domestically and abroad. I'm currently spending a year in Israel as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at Oranim Academic College of Education. Had the opportunity to attend a ceremony for the eve of Israelโ€™s Memorial Day. I then attended a presentation given by the sister of a fallen soldier. Understandably, this day is taken very seriously in a country where everyoneโ€™s sons and daughters serve in the military.
