I rarely ever post public declarations of affection. But each day of the four years since I married this womanβ€”and of the three years we dated before thatβ€”I have fallen more and more in love with her. I’m finally getting around to reading Steven Pinker’s The Language Instinctβ€”it’s been on my “to-read” for way too long. So far, I’ve found his unquestioning support of Chomsky’s UG a bit annoying and his brutal takedown of Whorfianism refreshing.
